Autodesk Director, Product Innovation and Strategy
Portland, Oregon Area
I started working with Autodesk when I joined a manufacturing value-added reseller in southern California doing technical sales, training, and consulting. I joined Autodesk in 1998 as a Product Manager on the Autodesk "Rubicon" team, which eventually became the Inventor product line.
I developed tools to tell our manufacturing story to sales and customers as manager of the manufacturing division's technical marketing team, and then became the first Mechanical Solutions Evangelist.
I returned to product development to start the Emerging Products and Technology team along with Rahul Vora, Chris Romes, Scott Reese, among other leaders at Autodesk. Driven to uncover pervasive customer problems, this team explored new technologies, many of which made their way into different products across the company. Out of EP&T, came the precursor of Fusion 360 and strategies around the cloud, analytics, and nurture marketing. With Fusion 360, I had opportunities to run both engineering and product management teams. I currently work to develop or vision and strategy for manufacturing.
