With a decade of leadership experience and more than fifteen years of writing software under his belt, Sean strives everyday to become a master software craftsman. Much of Sean’s entrepreneurial know-how came about during his time living in Thailand, where he founded his own consultancy and established others. Though there are fewer elephants to dodge on his commute in the Rogue Valley, his work life is far from dull. Sean spearheads Zeal’s apprenticeship program and is an industry leader dedicated to bringing the apprenticeship model to other organizations. His passion for teaching is nurtured by sharing his knowledge, through workshops, speaking engagements, and programming courses at local community colleges.

As an avid traveler and paraglider, Sean loves seeing new sights (especially from high elevations). He spends as much time as he can sharing his love of outdoor adventure with his wife and two children.
